Yin Yoga

With over a decade immersed in the practice of yoga, I've explored various movement styles, finding resonance in the transformative journey it offers. With a foundational practise in Ashtanga Yoga, I've cultivated a disciplined and purposeful approach that evolves alongside the seasons of life.

In addition to my experience in Ashtanga, I bring a wealth of experience in trauma-informed and yin yoga. Complementing these skills, my postgraduate studies in Psychology have deepened my understanding of holistic well-being, guiding me to create intimate class environments where every student feels acknowledged and empowered to explore their practice.

Central to my teaching philosophy is the belief that yoga is a sanctuary for stillness and acceptance, allowing us to attune to the wisdom of our bodies and minds. As a teacher, I prioritise inclusivity and compassion, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of background or ability, feel welcomed and supported on their journey.

I'm honored to be part of The Yoga Impact Charity teaching team, where I contribute to sharing somatic, trauma-informed, and accessible yoga in diverse communities.

Testimonials

“I've been a student with Isabel for a year now and I can't recommend her classes enough. I have a chronic illness and chronic pain, so finding a teacher I feel safe with, who helps me to find the right balance in a yoga class and do what's right for my body, whether gently challenging myself or taking it easy, is so important. Isabel's classes are always safe, supportive, and have such a warm environment.”

“Isabel is the most considered, accommodating and generous yoga teacher I’ve had in over 10years of practice. She always takes care to ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident and provides plenty of guidance to ensure each of us is doing a variation of a pose that suits our body on the day. I’m really grateful to have a teacher so passionate and knowledgeable in her craft.”

— Student, Tal

Typically my weekly exercise regime includes cardio, HIIT, and weight training. I find yoga offers something different not only physically but also mentally. Unlike my gym-based exercise, yoga with Isabel has always been a place where my body is challenged in the most fulfilling way and my mind is nurtured. Omnitude yoga is a warm, welcoming environment with a very knowledgeable and passionate teacher.
